Cottageville Elementary School

has a Little Free Library!!

Robin Stephens, reading coach at Cottageville Elementary, is excited to be the Steward for the Cottageville Elementary Little Free Library: #19326 on behalf of our students, teachers and our community! The way it works is simple:

  • We initially stock the LFL with a variety of good quality books that we hope will interest our students.

  • The students stop by and take whatever catches their eyes.

  • Students bring books to contribute when they can.

  • Donations of books from individuals and groups are always welcome!

  • LFL books are always a gift – never for sale!

  •

Little Free Library’s mission is to:

    • Promote literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges worldwide.

    • To build a sense of community as we share skills, creativity and wisdom across generations.

How Does This Library Work?

  • This Little Free Library offers a way to share good things to read—favorite books from childhood or books that teach, intrigue and engage you. All of us can help by keeping this collection stocked with good reading material.

    • Whose library is this? It belongs to everybody – students, teachers and staff.       That’s why we want to take care of it.

    • Take a book. If you see something you would like to read, take it.

    • Share it. Return it to any Little Library or pass it on to a friend.

    • Give books. Donate books you’ve read or have out-grown. Get books from thrift stores, garage sales or family members.

    • We support reading for children, literacy for adults, and libraries around the world.

    • Check out the LFL story at www.littlefreelibrary.org. Better yet, encourage others to put one up in their area! We hope to see you soon.
